We are looking for volunteers to help run the trailer and to work remotely on different areas of the project

Our next ShowerBox session is on This Saturday from 10:00 – 14:00 (with last showers at 13:30) and every Saturday thereafter at St Giles in the Fields – 60 St Giles High St, London WC2H 8LG. Please print our Information sheet for anyone who cannot access this website but would like to use the ShowerBox Service.

To support thousands across London and in cities nationwide, we need your help. Aside from support driving and running the ShowerBox trailer, we really need help securing funding. We are also trying to secure land for a wellbeing garden and a semi-permanent location for the ShowerBox trailer and vehicle base. Thirdly, we are welcoming expertise on converting spaces into showering facilities and finally, we are accepting donations, from toiletries to new underwear. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you can support ShowerBox in any capacity.

Donate toiletries and other items

We are always in desperate need for donations of toiletries, feminine hygiene products, hair clippers, phone chargers and new underwear and boxer shorts. It’s essential ShowerBox guests have the opportunity to put on clean clothes after their shower to maximise the length of time they can feel clean.

Donate your time or skills

ShowerBox is always on the lookout for people willing to donate their time or skills. We need people to help staff the ShowerBox trailer but also welcome volunteers who have skills such as hairdressing they could offer to our ShowerBox guests.

Make a financial donation

We are only able to continue to run ShowerBox with your donations. For those who can, please consider donating. Any money you can give helps us empower homeless individuals to maintain good personal hygiene, build confidence and motivation.

A special thank you to our patrons, supporters and volunteers

Since the start of ShowerBox, a number of passionate volunteers have been dedicated to ShowerBox and helping others. We would like to give a special thanks to Malcolm from MLJ CLeaning for his continued support, making sure we have clean towels for our guests each week. We are so grateful to the Somers Town Community Association and the Malachi Trust for their grants and to Navitron for their generous donation of solar-powered showers.

Our great appreciation goes to Ecover, Greggs, Lofbergs Coffee, Beauty Banks, Natural Balance Foods, JustGiving, Sop, Under One Sky, Sal’s Shoes, Serving Our Superheroes, Spring Grove School, Milly & Sissy, Weird FishKnit For Peace, Smalls For All, Raynor Hygiene, Arcade and The Hygiene Bank for their wonderful donations since we began. Lastly, a huge thanks to everyone who has been able to donate to ShowerBox and to the many volunteers who show up to help others each week.

With thanks to our latest donor, St Gile’s Trust
